Travix customers book their flights on one of our websites, e.g.

The flights can be reserved via one of these systems, so Travix employees have access to the booking:

1.   GDS booking tool:

  • Amadeus    

  • Worldspan  

A GDS (Global Distribution System) is where scheduled airlines upload data as e.g. availability and ticket fares.  Airlines and travel agents communicate via the GDS.

Travix is ‘owner’ of and responsible for the flights of their customers and will issue the tickets.  Travix uses two GDS’s: Amadeus and Worldspan.

If tickets have to be changed or cancelled, Travix E-Travel agents will assist the customer and take care of their needs.

2.    NDC booking tool:

  • Lufthansa   SPRK    

  • Air France / KLM

NDC is a new distribution standard and allows airlines to publish rich content and make personalized offers. This also facilitates the sale of supporting products. NDC is a direct connection between the OTA and the airline, no intervention by a GDS. 

For now, Travix has a contract with Lufthansa Group and Air France / KLM.

3.    LCC / Low Cost Carrier booking tool:

  • Pyton  (LCRS)

  • TravelFusion

Via these tools, we can manage the LCC flights, in case customers have to change or cancel.

For now, we only service the customers for the Dutch brands. For all other brands, customers have to contact the LCC directly if they want to change or cancel their booking.
