Out of balance basically means: the customer paid and one or more products are not booked. "Not booked" is caused by multiple reasons such as:

  • product available during search but not available during booking
  • connection issues (network/internet etc.).

For our customers this sounds like we took their money but didn't book anything.

Out of balance orders can happen on all bookings and systems (Amadeus, Worldspan, LCRS/Pyton, Travelfusion).

In Traxx you can filter on OOB orders by selecting the "Orders with failed purchase of product"
